Etched copper Japanese maple branch with detailed leaves with a Mid Century Modern style. Metal is darkened for antique appearance. Edge of copper sheet is distressed to further enhance the antiquing, while the raised branch and leaves are polished and veined detail of leaves has a green patina. Copper is finished with a clear sealer which further enhances the etch and ensures it remains tarnish free. For indoor use only.
 

  • PRODUCT INFO

    Frame is solid hardwood stained your choice of color and sealed with a matte sealer. Etched metal stands off back of frame on 3/4" block of solid wood with sanded edges and stained coordinating color. Backing is sturdy finished with paint, screws, and saw tooth hanger for easy hanging.

     

    Each piece is hand etched using original design and hand applied resists. The metal sheet is then immersed in a reusable copper salt solution with a power supply which etches the design into the metal. All frames are hand made and finished to enhance the etched metal.

     

    Please note: Due to varying wood grain and coloring, frame finishes may be lighter or darker than in listing photos pictured. Metal tends to darken slightly with age even though clear coat has been applied. This is part of it's natural beauty.
